"Luckily for me, my roots are in NW Missouri and since I continue to maintain farmland there and conduct some business, I have made an annual business trips back there for two full decades....Early on during these trips starting way way back in the late 1990's, I first discovered Shullsburg Cheeses of the flavors I most favor and how easy it was to acquire them, at least in NW Missouri....Thus began an annual tradition that before I left town (Maryville) to fly back to Seattle, I would stock up right there with at least an entire year's supply (24 10oz bricks of cheese n salami and/or bacon, usually a mix of the two)....Yes indeed, I'm not kidding; I've been known to literally wipe out all three stores leaving the shelves bare in all three, two states, in one annual Midwest visit....Honest to God, I did this religiously every year, once a year, for two full decades!....As the years pass and I grow older, this was all getting to be harder and harder. Again, I am thinking that there must be a better way. Maybe I could simplify this whole thing and just look up Shullsburg online and maybe order it for direct shipping....It didn't take long to discover how simple that was! Hmm, well imagine that! Sure, there's a shipping charge, but so what, who cares and by comparison a small price to pay. I get my cheese (now reduced to 6-month supply increments instead of 12 months and in 8oz blocks instead of 10oz for the sake of space) since I now know how easy I can simply order for restocking as needed and no longer have to drag 15 pounds of cheese halfway across the county once a year. Thanks, Shullsburg for continuing to make these products and making acquiring such so easy! Don't you dare ever go out of business!!"

"Oh my goodness, I have to share my comments regarding the cheese spreads you offer! I started buying these a couple of years ago because I had tasted some at a friend's house and loved them. The Swiss Almond was my favorite then. Well, my husband and I loved it so that we ordered some of each kind and shared some with my boss in another state and my son in another state as well. All of them have become customers as they say it is the best cheese spread for crackers they have ever found. We love the Swiss Almond, Port Wine, Garlic and Bacon, Sharp Cheddar, and the regular Cheddar the best. The sizes are great, with a lot for the money. I would not ever be without them and will keep referring people. Also, when I call in and order the people are always pleasant and friendly. Thank you for being in business!!!!"

Most people in the Pac NW never heard of it until the recent popularity of Detroit Pizza hit the foodies in Portland. While we love brick for that, yours is so creamy & flavorful that it gets gobbled up from our charcuterie boards before the Pizza dough has time to ferment & rise.
